Liturgy
At Green River Zen Center we offer traditional Zen services on Saturday mornings after zazen. You can find the liturgy in the "Liturgy" tab under "Study and Practice" and at the links below. If you attend zendo on Saturdays via zoom, please use the liturgy on our website to follow along and chant with us. Our weekly newsletter, This Week in the Zendo, announces which service we will be offering each Saturday. Service A includes the Heart Sutra in English, the Identity of Relative and Absolute, dedication to the patriarchal lineage, Enmei Jukku Kannon Gyo and Shosai Myo Kichijo Dharani.
Service B includes the Make Hanna Haramita Shingyo, The Song of Jewel Mirror Awareness, dedication to the matriarchal lineage, Enmei Jukku Kannon Gyo and Shosai Kichijo Dharani.
The other services offered are the Gate of Sweet Nectar and Renewal of Vows, both of which are complete services unto themselves.
