with DHARMA TALK AND DHARMA COMBAT

Saturday, April 24, at 7:45 pm (US Eastern) following 7:00 pm Zen meditation
To complete the Winter Intensive and this period of her training, Lily Myokan Perkins will present her first official dharma talk and answer questions from all of you about practice and life. Traditionally, this vital part of the Installation Ceremony of a senior student is called "Dharma  Combat," though it is meant to be friendly.  Before sesshin begins you will receive the koan she has been working on.  While we have fun with this, please ask her a serious practice/life question as a sign of respect, just as you would any teacher. More instructions will be given during the ceremony, but please attend and participate to support this big transition in her life and the life of the sangha.
All are invited to the ceremony.   Please inform Dantika if you plan to attend: dantikapm@gmail.com
